Richard Hayward Properties (RHP) has let a 9,000 sq ft restaurant unit on the ground floor of the Newport city centre Travelodge. The new restaurant, which is due to open later this week, will trade as Feast Asia.
As a result ground floor of the building, which comprises a mix of retail and A3 units, is now fully let.
The site once housed the grand Lyceum Theatre, but this was replaced in the 1960s by the current structure - which was first the Olympia Cinema and then the ABC Cinema.
RHP converted the high profile building in Newport’s Bridge Street into a 62-bed Travelodge Hotel with retail units beneath in 2008 and has continued own and manage the property ever since.
